(hereinafter referred to as "we"), as the operator of the VeltemaNFC products and services, fully recognizes the importance of your personal information and appreciates your trust in us. Through the VeltemaNFC Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy"), we will explain how VeltemaNFC collects, stores, protects, and uses your personal information, as well as the rights you are entitled to. - To help you understand the types and purposes of the information we need to collect when you use our services, we will explain them to you one by one in conjunction with specific services.
- We will collect, store, protect, and use your personal information in accordance with the principles of legality, legitimacy, necessity, and good faith.

How We Collect Information
In accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and national standards, we may process your personal information under the following circumstances:

- Necessary for the conclusion and performance of a contract at your request;
- Necessary to fulfill legal obligations, such as anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, real-name management, and other legally required information;
- Directly related to national security or defense security;
- Necessary to respond to public health emergencies or to protect the life, health, and property safety of individuals in emergencies;
- Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;
- The personal information is voluntarily disclosed by you;
- Collected from legally publicly disclosed information, such as lawful news reports or government information disclosures;
- Necessary to ensure the secure and stable operation of the services provided, such as detecting and resolving faults in products or services;
- Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.
Note: If the processing of your personal information falls under circumstances (2) to (10) above, we may not need to obtain your consent again as required by applicable laws and regulations.
When you use VeltemaNFC services, we may collect necessary information in the following scenarios to provide services, improve service quality, and comply with national laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements:
- To ensure the secure and stable operation of the software and services, prevent viruses, trojans, or other malicious programs or websites, and fulfill legal obligations such as anti-telecom fraud, we may record your immutable/mutable unique device identifiers, basic device information, network information, location, and other service-related log information.
- When you copy information in the VeltemaNFC App, the app needs to access your clipboard locally to read the text, numbers, or other content.
- We may also collect other information you provide, generate, or retain while using our products/services, such as when you scan NFC tags (requiring communication with backend servers) or participate in promotional activities, as well as log data and browsing history. You have the right to refuse to provide such information, but this may prevent you from using certain services or features.
- As our services continue to evolve, we may need to collect additional information or make significant changes to how your personal information is processed. In such cases, we will notify you through page prompts, interactive processes, or agreements, explaining the scope, purpose, and method of collection and obtaining your consent.
How We Request Device Permissions
To provide services and help you identify NFC tags, VeltemaNFC may request the following permissions when necessary. Rest assured, these permissions are not enabled by default—they are only requested when needed for specific functions, and we only collect information after obtaining your explicit consent.
- NFC Tag Reading: When scanning NFC tags, VeltemaNFC requests this permission to help you read content and query hidden codes or QR codes from the database. We only read or cache necessary information. Refusing this permission will disable related features but will not affect other services.
How We Store and Protect Information
- Personal information collected in China is stored within China. If cross-border transfers are required, we will comply with laws and regulations, ensuring confidentiality through agreements and audits.
- We employ industry-leading security measures (e.g., SSL encryption, strict data center access controls) to minimize risks of leaks, loss, or misuse.
- Upon termination of service or business operations, we will stop collecting your information and delete/anonymize it as required by law.
How We Use Information
To comply with national laws, regulations, and relevant regulatory requirements, to provide you with services, enhance service quality, or safeguard your account security, we will only use your information under the following circumstances. Unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations, if we intend to use your information for purposes not specified in this clause, we will obtain your consent again in accordance with legal and national standards, either through confirmation agreements or context-specific authorization prompts. We use your information only for:
- Purposes outlined in "How We Collect Information" and "How We Request Device Permissions."
- Service optimization, analysis, and maintenance.
- Compliance with legal/regulatory reporting.
- Sending service notifications or marketing messages (opt-out available).
- Security, fraud prevention, and risk control.
- Anonymized data for research, statistics, or product improvement.
- Partnering with advertisers while protecting your identity (unless consented).
How We Share Information
We are committed to maintaining strict confidentiality of your personal information. Unless otherwise required by laws, regulations, or regulatory authorities, we will only share your personal information with third parties under the following circumstances. Such third parties may include our affiliates and partners. If sharing your information with a third party is necessary to provide you with services, we will assess the legality, legitimacy, and necessity of the third party's data collection practices. We will require the third party to implement reasonably necessary protective measures for your information and strictly comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements. We strictly protect your information and share it only:
- When we have obtained your separate explicit consent.
- Sharing necessary for providing services to you. Certain products or services may be provided by third parties or jointly by us and third parties, therefore sharing your information is essential to deliver the products or services you require.
- To enhance service efficiency, reduce costs, or improve service quality, we may need to entrust affiliates or professional institutions (collectively referred to as "trusted partners") to assist in completing certain VeltemaNFC services or responsibilities. For example: authorizing trusted partners to collect your information or analyze, process, and handle your information for risk control, service maintenance or improvement; or authorizing trusted partners to provide customer-related services (such as surveys, inquiries, or hotline services). Accordingly, we will provide your information to these trusted partners within the necessary scope of service provision. We will require these trusted partners to adhere to strict confidentiality obligations and implement effective protective measures, prohibiting them from using this information for any purposes not consented by you. We bear corresponding responsibility for the security of your information.
- If you choose to participate in joint operational activities with third parties, such as lotteries, contests, or similar promotional activities, we may share with the third party the information generated during and necessary for completing the activity, so that the third party can timely deliver prizes or provide services to you. In accordance with laws, regulations or national standards, we will clearly inform you through activity rules pages or other channels about what personal information needs to be provided to third parties. Except for displaying desensitized winners' phone numbers or account usernames when announcing winners according to specific activity rules, we will not publicly disclose your information. When public disclosure is truly necessary, we will inform you of the purpose of disclosure, types of information to be disclosed, and any potentially involved sensitive information, and obtain your explicit consent.
- When you file a complaint against others or are complained against by others, to fulfill our legal obligations and protect your legitimate rights and interests as well as those of others, we may provide your name, valid ID number, contact information, and complaint details to consumer protection departments and regulatory authorities to promptly resolve disputes, unless expressly prohibited by laws and regulations.
- To meet internal audit requirements, we may provide necessary information to our auditing institutions for audit purposes.
- Due to regulatory inspections or in accordance with lawful requests from administrative and judicial authorities.

- You may access, correct, or request copies of your information, except where restricted by law (e.g., security or identity verification).
- Certain requests may be denied if they conflict with legal obligations, public safety, or others' rights.

However, due to security and identity verification requirements (such as account appeal services) or mandatory legal provisions, you may not be able to modify the initial registration information or other verification details provided during registration.
- Notwithstanding the above, in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and national standards, we may be unable to fulfill your requests under the following circumstances:
- Where it relates to our compliance with legal obligations;
- Where it directly concerns national security or defense;
- Where it directly involves public safety, public health, or significant public interests;
- Where it directly relates to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or execution of judgments;
- Where there is substantial evidence indicating your subjective malice or abuse of rights;
- Where fulfilling your request would severely harm the lawful rights and interests of other individuals or organizations.
- When we cooperate with third-party institutions to provide services to you, such institutions will inform you about the relevant personal information processors in accordance with their published privacy policies or other agreements (if any) with you.
